When it comes to weight loss, I suggest trying intermittent fasting once. There are several reasons for this, such as improved insulin sensitivity and positive hormonal changes in the body that can help with weight loss.

If you have a busy lifestyle and find it challenging to consume 5-6 meals, intermittent fasting can be a sustainable way to incorporate nutrition into your lifestyle and facilitate your weight loss journey.

The best way to follow intermittent fasting is to not eat anything for 16 hours, which is known as the fasting window. Then, during the 8-hour eating window, consume all of your meals.

Early workout.

First thing in the morning, try to get a workout done on an empty stomach. You can do any type of workout, such as resistance training, yoga, weight training, or a bodyweight workout, as long as you do it for at least 30 minutes.

When you exercise in the morning on an empty stomach, two important hormones, adrenaline and noradrenaline, are released inside your body. These hormones help to burn fat quickly from your body.

Consume a Leucine-rich snack.

Try to eat a leucine-rich snack as soon as possible after your workout because leucine is an amino acid that signals muscle protein synthesis in your body. In other words, it sends a signal to your body to create new muscle or conserve existing muscle.

The best sources of leucine are foods like egg whites, low-fat milk, and protein powder. Try to eat 3-4 egg whites, drink a glass of low-fat milk, or consume a serving of protein powder.

Meal planning.

The first thing you need to do in the morning is to plan your meals for the whole day. The biggest mistake people make is not being able to plan their meals.

If you haven’t planned your meals, you may end up eating whatever you want because you don’t have a plan. Therefore, try to plan your meals and make sure to track your macros, as it can help in weight loss.
